Virtualizing disk Volume(s)

Got this in the junk mail today - haven't read thought it in detail. Seems similar to some VMWare features, except that this product acts on the host OS.

So this is backup for lazy people with lots of disk space.

When you think about it, probably 90% of the drives in modern computers are way bigger than they need to be anyway. It isn't like most corporate desktops don't have the space for a program like that.

Reading about it, it looks like a pretty good idea. Now, the fact they're sending mubs spam, well, that's just wrong. But they do have a good idea.

It also doesn't protect against failure.

Although I've lost more data to stupidity, failure is important to protect against.

I have a really hard time buying a product that doesn't explain how it works and has the word "Magic" in the title..l.though I am interested.
