I just downloaded 2 pics to my website. They are directly under root, named 1.jpg and 2.jpg. Fell free to check them out! :)

They're pretty quick scans, so no complaints about the quality/size/format/etc please ! ;)

Nice pictures Jo, thanks for sharing. If Tea were here, with complete disregard for humans even being in the photograph, she'd reply something positive about the elephant in the second picture.

Tannin, I've been meaning to ask why you always type "thankyou" instead of "thank you".

So, um, why is that?

Jojo, did you have a Thai wedding or was there a local cleric fluent in Finnish? And while I'm at it, why Thailand?

Because it's one word. If it was two words, I'd type "thank you". At least I've always regarded it as one word. Is this a US vs International English thing, a Tannin thing, or just one of those personal prefferance things?

My spell checkers don't seem to object to it.

Generally, it's US English that takes the lead in joining words together - for example, "cooperate" where an Englishman might write "co-operate". But not always, it seems. :)

Hmmm: Google gives 13.1 million hits for "thank you", and 12.7 million hits for "thankyou". More-or-less even-stephen. Or possibly even-steven. Or something.

Whatever. Jojo, have a thankyou and a thank you. :)

Picture "3.jpg" kills my Mozilla dead (I'm using version 1.4). It just blows it right away ... doesn't even show up in the process list after trying to link to it. Impressive.

That's because the uncompressed size of that image is roughly 150MB. Try a real browser like IE 6.0 and...(oh boy...ducking the flames.)

Nice pics Jojo, congrats on the marriage!

Wow. How on earth did you create an image file of that size JoJo? You could probably print out a 10 metre^2 banner and see no noticeable loss of resolution.

(Thanks for letting me know what was going on there, Handruin. I used wget to grab a copy, and then Gimp to view it. I like how Mozilla handled it ... kind of funny actually: it didn't appear to even try downloading it - it vaporized the instant I pointed it at the URL.)

Ok, been able to see the pictures. Noticed that wife has green eyes, but couldn't tell the color of JoJo's (brown?).

You were so much more entertaining when you used to complain about everything online that wasn't less than 30KB.

For JoJo's picture I would've at least made the effort. Besides, most things on the internet over 30kb that aren't scantily clad women still suck.

Can I get an Amen?

Sorry to drag your thread off-topic JoJo. It's just that, if I'm to tell the absolute and honest truth here, the reality of things is that Merc getting broadband is quite possibly more newsworthy than you getting married. It certainly came as more of a shock!

Hell, people get married all the time - look at Flagreen, he's had more marriages than I've had hot dinners - but ....

Hmmm .... I think I'd better start a new thread and make this a poll.

Merc getting broadband is deffinitely a BIG thing. As is Tea leaving (Just noticed in the poll, haven't read about though! Where do I find here new e-mail?).

I'm just a bit worried about Merc not liking us/me, as he hasn't PM'd me access codes to his vast collection of p0rn ;).

It's not just that he's married, it's that he's a newlywed. I can't believe he's come up for air already. Shoot, last time I got within 50 feet my approximate age was probably, um, ten days ago.

JoJo, you live in Europe. You get naked people on TV, naked people on the cover of respectable magazines and access to depths of smut that aren't even possible here in the states.

And you're asking me for porn?!?

Yes and I can tell you that a bad relationship is a lot harder to digest than a disagreeable meal. However I don't plan on ever getting married again. Whereas you must eat. So while there are no more bad marriages in my future, you have a few more bad meals to look forward to I fear. :)
