Why Windows is a Security Nightmare

While he sounds like a frustrated preacher who tries to convince people that he has seen the light, I think some of the problems he has pointed out are real issues that should be addressed. The inefficiency of Windows Update is one, although I haven't seen equal or better until the release of Fedora Core 2 with Up2date. And the registry is a mess, that shouldn't be a point of conflict here, I think.

It is my belief that the security flaws commonly found on Linux systems mainly come from the applications while the vast majority of issues on Windows are due to the way the OS is made.

Truth be told, only people very familiar with computer sciences are able to reasonably secure their computers.
