Win 7 SP-1

After installing SP-1 the phrase 'Evaluation copy. Build 7601' showed up in the lower right corner of the desktop.
Anyone else see this?

The text in the lower-right has been an option in builds since at least 2000. Where did you download SP1 from?

Ah, still a beta build. That would be expected then.

Right at the top of the page there

"Please Note: This early release of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta is not available for home users. The SP1 Beta does not provide new end-user features, and installation is not supported by Microsoft."

Doesn't surprise me it has a couple problems. Hope you didn't just hose yourself for when the finished product comes out.

I leave that identifier on all the time. In that way I know which computer I'm using.
