Thanks for the suggestions. Office Depot, Staples, and Best Buy had a limited selection of hands-on (out of the box) displays. I found this the most comfortable: o Logitech M705 Marathon mouse Plus: horizontal scrolling, forward/back buttons, hyperscrolling, full size. Minus: Bluetooth-free...

Thanks, Stereodude, I'll check out the MS Arc Mouse. CougTek, sounds like I missed a good story. How did the mice end up in the the wall?

full size mouse recommendation - wired or Bluetooth This topic hasn't been addressed in a while, so here it goes... I'm looking for a full size mouse, either wired or Bluetooth, that will be for a MacBook Pro (two USB ports). I have a wired Logitech G5 Laser Mouse that I use for general use...

    Samsung 2TB

Thanks, Lunar. Pulling the drive isn't exactly a ringing endorsement. I'd be using this on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Wonder how it works there.

    Samsung 2TB

Lunar, so what's the word on this drive? I'm thinking of one for photo image backups. Is this the model? Samsung Spinpoint F3EG HD203WI http://www.samsung.com/global/business/hdd/productmodel.do?group=72&type=94&subtype=98&model_cd=513&tab=fea&ppmi=1087

    World Community Grid

Thanks for the links, guys. I looked over the F@H FAQ and forum but didn't find the answer to: Let's say I install F@H, then repave Redhat. Is there a way to save the configuration? I ask because with United Devices, there's no (simple) way to save the configuration: you reinstall, UD creates a...

client for Redhat I have a Redhat 9.0 file server that I'd like to leave on all the time if there's an easily configured distributed computing client. I run United Devices (the World Community Grid client) on an XP workstation and I'd like to avoid a client with similar issues. UD doesn't allow...

    LCD projectors: buying advice

Projector calibration/color management Tannin, since you're displaying photographs, would you be calibrating the projector? I see the GretagMacBeth Eye-One Beamer is USD $1,165.50, ouch! My photography club is considering buying a projector for photo competitions but calibration is an issue.

    What web authoring tool used?

Does anyone use GNU Emacs or XEmacs as a "simple" HTML/XHTML editor? I'd like it to run on Windoze XP and Unix/Linux. Like Mercutio, I'm at home with vi but I think emacs will have more HTML support than vim. BTW I found a nice Emacs Wiki.
