If it isn't religion we disagree on, it is football teams, or Amiga vs Atari or something else. I'm not very religious, but I think anyone can believe in what they want as long as they don't disturb anyone else. And religion should not be involved in how you rule a country. By the way, this was...

I'm not OK with terrorists. But I don't think a nuke in the middle east would have prevented the things that happened in San Bernadino, Paris, Nice and so on. It would only piss normal people off and make it easier for terror organisations to recruit members around the world. We have to fight...

I'm sorry that you lost a friend in 9/11, but I still don't understand your arguments. At all. Adolf Hitler and a few others have already tried the genocide method. Besides, only ~20% of all muslims live in the middle east, perhaps there's a risk that some of the other 80% in the world would...

I'm afraid that the integrated Realtek audio chip isn't really reference. But I use the same on my computer, and I listen to songs from Youtube sometimes, and I haven't placed my speakers for best audio performance either, and I have also listened to music streamed to a bluetooth spreaker from a...

MP3 or FLAC will probably not make any difference in a phone, the only phone I know of that aspires to have decent sound is the LG G5? with the hifi plug in module. I have a Nexus 6P with AKG n20 headphones, not really high end, but not the worst either. The sounds are there, but not the timing...

I don't know if I have golden ears or not, but I haven't heard any artifacts with high quality recordings. And I'm pretty sure you can reproduce sound > 20kHz in an 44 kHz/16 bit recording? So I don't know what to think about that argument. You can take a look/listen at this page if you want to...

    Tesla doomed

I think we pay around $6 per gallon here, an we're not the most expensive country in Europe. The car tax also correlates to the CO2 emission levels. I don't think it's perfect, but it's something. I agree with mubs on the two-wheelers (with or without engines), many seem to be in full-on-attack...

Oops, I missed that part. Another challenge is that the customers im the US have beem accustomed to (in my eyes) huge vehicles since the 1950's. And we Swedes love our large station wagons, and in Italy they wonder why Swedes need to drive such huge cars, and so on. Maybe we have to have some...

Of course the Fiat will have a disadvantage, but it's not as bad as it looks. I have never liked large/huge cars. They waste energy and they are no fun to drive.

b I'm not sure I agree with you on that one. Here's a pic that shows how much space bikes vs cars vs a bus uses to transport the same amount of passengers: http://www.bikehub.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Munster1991BusBicycleCar.jpg The biggest problem with a city bus is that it's usually...

The infrastructure costs a bit, and an electric bus cost around twice as much as a normal bus. But then the energy price is lower than the diesel price, and the maintenance costs are probably lower too (I don't know the life expectancy of the battery though, especially in the cold). I'm a bit of a bus nerd (mostly thanks to my work), and everybody seems to agree on that electric buses are the future, either fully electrical or hybrid, at least on city buses. I can imagine that Glenmorangie 18 is very, very good,. I got a bottle of Glenmorangie 12 "the sherry cask finish" as a birthday gift, I'll try that one tonight. I mostly buy the standard bottlings, so it will be interesting to try something new.

What's wrong with the Nexus 6? It's great (well) for RDP, reading the shopping list etc. And it's my work phone, so the camera isn't very important. I wouldn't mind a Moto G or Moto X either for that matter even if there are better phones, but the simple interface + turbo charging is very...

    Android phones: Tips, tricks?

I hate to say it, but a co worker got a Z3 and it seems to be pretty good (smooth ui, good camera and water resistant) even if it's preloaded with millions of apps that you don't want. Personally I was looking really hard at the Moto X, but then the Nexus 6 came along.
