    Even better audio from a laptop v. Audio-gd NFB-15.1 + Emotiva Pro Airmotiv 4

But do you really believe it's a bad thing if it restricts the choices to really good subwoofers? We have different philosophies about how to reach Audiophile Nirvana. I don't think you can convert me and I'm not going to convert you either. :)

Or get a good digital music streamer that receives the signal over TCP/IP and converts it to music only once. It won't work very good for computer games, but it's great for music.

I kind of agree with Stereodude about the next steps, but it's only logical if you've maximized the earlier steps. Otherwise you're just wasting money. Spend a bit more money on a better sub with a line out. Or - get an even better one with a high pass line out, so you can mix and match the...

I fell in love with Laphroaig when I took my first sip, perhaps Merc will love it too? I haven't tried the 30 YO myself. But it's considered to be very good, and a 30 year old whisky is always special. Remember not to use ice or anything else to cool the whisky, it numbs the taste buds and...

Laphroaig? You should enjoy it with some friends. You could try some Lagavulin, Ardbeg 10, Laphroaig 10 and/or Laphroaig Quarter Cask in a bar, if you're not already acquainted with the Islay style.

Yes. I use Win 8 in the same way as Mercutio (not very much Metro), I went straight from 2003 to the consumer preview and it took me about 4 hours to feel comfortable, so most of you will probably only need <=2 hours.

I don't know, I haven't gone much faster than 25-28 mph. It adds a little bit of drag you know. ;) Or maybe it's because I only have 48-11 on the bike? But it's pretty safe, the aluminium frame and handle bars acts as a roll cage if things should go wrong. I actually tipped it over for the...

There's both a net and the cover for wind/rain. It's a really good idea to at least close the net when it's connected to the bike. Unless of course you really want sand/glassblast the kids face.

    Electric Cars

The Volt/Opel Ampera in Europe was exciting when it entered the market. It was important to get rid of the range anxiety, but now it's more or less played out it's roll. The V60 Plug-in Hybrid with the diesel engine looks interesting for example.

    Beverages

It depends, I think most people would enjoy a glass of Bruichladdich or Bowmore. It's the distilleries on the south coast, Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphroaig that makes the peaty stuff. By the way, Talisker has a similar character to the south coast Islay whiskies even if it's from the Isle of Skye...
