    Viore HD 1080p 60HZ lc40vf80 for 389 at costco?

Time: Thanks. I'll have to go look at the 32" Panasonic and pull the number. I do like the 40" size. I guess I might test the Vizio 37" on the HTPC. The scrolling and vibrating of letter might be due to the old video card running at a non-native resolution. Might be the Viore just uses a...

Thanks. I looked but couldn't find anything. I'll turn it back inside 60 days, and hope the other TV's have come down in price. If I wasn't using this as a computer monitor, I'd probably be delighted with the color to begin with, and, I don't think most humans can tell the difference between...

    Case for a Gigabyte G1.Assassin

I switched all my server case fans to Stealths. Not as much case flow, but quieter. My server case in particular doesn't work well without very high speed, noisy, 80-90 mm fans. DD setup the beast, it works. I leave it alone.

    Viore HD 1080p 60HZ lc40vf80 for 389 at costco?

Seems to play movies best. When scrolling or typing it takes awhile for the type to be seen properly. It also doesn't really run at 1900X 1080. That's too big, and it runs off the screen. It's currently running at 1808 X 1016 to fit it to the screen. It might be that the custom settings are...

I was really just after a decent monitor, and, for the price, it's a great monitor. Cheesy remote, o DVD player, etc. When it first Came out, I gather it was over 500 dollars. It looks like they had 758 of em, and were looking to move them quickly, with Costco buying them up. I can't help but...

I bought a little 21.5" Samsung monitor at Costco.dollars, but really 175, since they didn't include a DVI cable with it. That made me think it was a poor value, small, and I decided to return it. Last time I was in, I noticed the 27" Samsung monitors had come down from 349 to 329. Still high...

    Case for a Gigabyte G1.Assassin

I don't really get the merits of a small case. I want something I can put lots of drives in, good hardware, lots of fans, big and quiet, and can get my big fingers into to work on. David is not small, nor are his hands.

HMMM. Free Linksys 54GL, and it lasted what, 5 years? Reasonable but not fast, and very reliable. There are a few gems out there. Hope this 4200 proves to be one of those. If not, it has been bought at Costco for that very reason.

Timing of building a new system

The 2500K and the 2600K are pretty substantial improvements in speed, at near the same price points. However, they are pretty new. I'd wait a bit until the prices come down a bit, and they get all the bugs worked out on the new motherboards. Also the motherboards seem to be kind of high...
