The Sigma tele macros had super slow AF on natively EF DSLRs. They are actually a little better on MILS. I don't know the AF issues with the Sigma 70-200/2.8, but the Canon RF 70-200/2.8 Z would be better in almost every way.

Yankees completely collapsed in the top of the 5th. Freeman was the easy choice for MVP with multiple all-time records. Buehler coming in for the save after starting Game 3 on Monday was wild. Dave Roberts deserves a lot of credit for 2024.

OTOH the 24/1.4 has highly distortion and needs to be severely corrected for rectilinear viewing. Is whatever Sigma 70-200/2.8 all that fragile or sensitive to heat/humidity?

The new Z version is definitely better than the original RF and also takes the RF TCs. Looking at the Canon MTF charts, I'd find it useful with the 1.4x TC also.

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/photography/news/canon-announces-new-hybrid-lenses I'm not enthused about any of those lenses that are targeted for videos. The 70-200/2.8 is basically a correction for the disatrously received telescoping first RF f/2.8 version. Now a TC can be used and...

CUDA was not so interesting to most users until all this AI software was introduced. Fortunately APPLE has taken up some of the slack from the disorganized x86 suppliers, but until the NPUs are really strong (and never will equate to a 400W GPU) we still need discrete GPUs for AI like image...
