That still creates many biological issues. How does the Alien remain a viable species if it keeps adding random DNA? How is the alien species (supposedly an invertebrate, arthropod) so similar to mammal DNA that it is even possible when it's difficult to interbreed very similar species on...

Ideally an image should be about 1500 or 1600 pixels wide and 1000 high. Don't tell me you shoot jpegs? The females generally have rather small tusks compred to males. Are you sure it was female? Can you post the full image online somewhere?

You cannot fix focus after the fact. Some tools have deconvolution sharpening and AI stuff that makes OOF look less bad. You should be using AF. Which lenses do you have? For about 30 years I would drive down to the SD zoo and/or safari park to conduct camera/lens testing. It was a lot...

    Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I'm sure you know that all pain is not carpal tunnel. Regardless, anything more than discomfort should lead you to behavioural changes. I had some mild pain back in the 20th century that was not and quickly resolved with ergonomic changes, especially the wrist rests.

Those U series are low power laptop CPUs. I thought you were building a small desktop system. The Ryzen 5 5500 is for the AM4 socket and has NO functional GPU. The AMD 5000 series has no GPU by default, which is why they developed the 5xxxG (graphics) series with an iGPU (AMD's term is APU)...

The X3D has extra cache that helps many games. Some benchmarks (just like regular applications) are more or less sensitive to cache size and hit rates. There are probably hundreds of articles about the pros/cons of the X3D so you have to decide what to do for your particular applications. Of...

Has anyone noticed that the power levels of the 9000 series are different from 7000 series? The 7950x and 9950x are 170W, but the 7900x is 170W vs. 120W for the 9900x. Does the 7900x really use 170W or is that a mistake? It seems more logical that it would be less with fewer cores, but maybe...

I usually use the Noctunal coolers for everything, but the 5500 comes with the Wraith cooler that works just fine. I have a 5700G with the Wraith for years now. It's somewhat noisier than a Noctunal at full speed but you should use a temperature profile anyway. Nocturnal has a rating that...

Heat management: Water Cooling in an Apartment?

Heat management: Water Cooling in an Apartment?

In most states you have a right to have appliances inspected by a professional. If the system is just too small for the hottest days, that is different from it not operating properly as installed (approved by inspectors). If all of your neighbors have the same system are they all performing...

Heat management: Water Cooling in an Apartment?

I expect that ARM is probably crappy in most older programs and any not optimized for their weirdly architecture. The question is which companies make good AMD NUCs (at high power levels) and are quick to market? Obviously ASUS is focused on iNtel. The one I have now is merely 11th GEN.

Looking as the specs the 9950x is no faster in GHz at maximum speed than the 7950x and actually slower at the base, yet at the same TDP.
