You could download the trail version of O&O Defrag and see if it's version of Trim helps your SSD. Be an interesting test before you trash the drive.

"Low power" is relative. If you need 1200W, then 25% is low power. If all you need is a 400W power supply, 25% is not low power.

A check of a 1200W power supply test at HardOCP, shows a very respectable efficiency at low power. The quality of the power supply would determine how well it handles loads from light to heavy.

I think it's wise to be over powered rather than just enough, underpowered, or marginal. A larger power supply also gives you a little 'furture proof' for any changes down the road. Of course you can also go overboard too.

Maybe God Mode would help.

When a file is deleted it is not really removed. It is just removed from the MFT ie:index. Could it be that windows is counting the 'deleted' file as used space because the clusters still have data in them? CCleaner has an option to 'clean' the empty areas of the hard drive without removing...

Winbubble and Classic Shell are a big help in making Win 7 useful.

Hmmm...I don't think you can charge a battery with a battery. At some point the dead batterty and the supply battery would equalize at some point below full charge.

In the very last picture you can see a whole gaggle of blue SATA cables going to the drives. I get the impression that it is not finished yet.

If you are running XP 32bit, could it be that it is choking on a drive that big???

I have had success replacing dead RAID controllers onto existing hard drives. If your new RAID controller is the same as the old one, it should work.

You could try pointing out the energy savings that the company would get if they used LCDs. Also, the reduced A/C load from the reduced heat from a LCD. Put all this on an Excel spread sheet as that seems to be the only thing managers look at these days. :frusty:
