    Bartender's Challenge

Not that i know of. I was kind of hoping to get into the 4-digit score range but it is a chore to keep the little guy on track for such a long time. The game does not get progressively more difficult the farther along you go. The pattern it uses for throwing your balance off is unpredictable...

Thanks for that link to the F-117 pictures, Merc. I really liked those. We've never had any of those aircraft visit our airfield that I know of.

    Bartender's Challenge

Concentrate on the pattern the game uses for making the player lose his balance. Try to correct as soon as possible when he starts to stagger to one side and bring him back to neutral. Reaction time is important. The other thing is that the game preys on people overcompensating their inputs...

    DVD disks

In reviews I have read that some DVD-RWs are very picky about blank media. So, yes to that. The Verbatim 16x DVD+R's get consistent good marks for low error rates and good burns. That's what I use and recommend.

    Apple makes the hate list

I guess so... Couldn't resist the "thousand points of smilies" to Tim's post, though. :mrgrn: Back to the topic: I did some idle searching too and it looks like several people have been stumped by the nefarious "Error 1605" on various forums. Makes me want to consider an alternative when I...

    Preferred Shoebox

None on both counts, Merc. No cooling problems, and that's with a Raptor in there for a HD. The PSU pushes that 4800+ X2 at 100% utilization (2 instances of FAH) 24/7 and has never given a single problem.

The one I have is great. Hard to believe how quiet it is; but then I used a passive-cooled video card. The only limitation mine has for video card is the video card's length. (Don't have time to look that spec up right now) The video card is the orange thing in this picture...

    Large TFT recommendations

The Samsung 214T (21.3") and 244T (24") are the two tempting me right now. Both are PVA type screens which seem to have the highest picture quality among LCD's. The 214t has 8ms response time, the 244t 10ms. They just hit the market so the pricing would likely be on the high side.

15 years ago I was living in a one bedroom apartment in Fremont, CA. It seemed that every Saturday and Sunday morning the neighbors on the other side of the wall from the room I slept in would play big-band music. Ordinarily, this would only be somewhat annoying, but I worked graveyard shift...

Whoops, I missed a couple things. There are missions within the game where you have to dance with a girlfriend and another where you operate the hydraulics of a lowrider car in sync with music. Both of those types of missions are short (maybe a couple minutes) and not difficult. I won't touch...

One that I used for a while was NeoMule. I has a lot of good tweaks. I have not used it for some time though. The one I use these days I don't want to mention publicly.
