DM+9 review finally up at SR

Both of you are right. I also remember a Seagate technician browsing and posting/responding on threads. I had a thread of mine arguing about the pluses and minuses of having HDD technicians onboard. On the old, lost forums I think...

I guess it's a script made to work if you link yourself to this URL: http://www.danasoft.com/vipersig.jpg If you try to save it though it becomes a simple JPEG image. It has to be linked on its source site. BTW, I tried it behind a proxy, it's amazing!

    Behold! The future..... Tejas revealed!

Land Grid Array is one of the most popular package types for the Logic IC market, but also one of the most difficult to test because of its high pin count, low pitch and the need to precisely align the surface of the chip and socket, or co-planarity. Testing LGA in a more productive "open-top"...

This is something that upsets me too. Hmm, isn't this supposed to be the other way around? Or at least, in this case blame web developers who use FrontPage, not MS browsers. I'll be learning DreamWeaver MX this summer because I want compliance and the fancy features Macromedia offers, but if my...

Maybe. I've tried IE, NN, and Opera. IE has been the faster of all. Moreover I find it the most compatible with sites and add-on features like Acrobat's and Norton's toolbars. Nice article. The conclusions are in line with what I was expecting, including the controversial AOPen mobo, except for the SoundMAX chip. It fairs very good for an onboard chip.

One of the reasons I like so much Folding@home is that it is working on maladies seen on my field of medical interest: Neuroscience! :brilsmurf: I think I'm getting more results in both F@h and UD Grid if I run them alone in alternate days than both at the same time, although I've noticed they...

    Wireless 5.1 Speakers

The Jazz speakers have a DIP switch to alternate between various frequencies in the 2.4GHz range. It's a good workaround and according to this reviewer worked. Others can do it too. And this will be real good for the market because I know many people who opted out because of the many cables in...

    I have seen the light...and it's a 21" flat panel

All things considered I think as prices fall and performances grow more and more people buy LCD monitors instead of CRT. The transition is faster in business enviroments and luxurious homes, but sooner or later power users and graphics professionals will be getting LCDs too. I think that even...

    I have seen the light...and it's a 21" flat panel

NEC/Mitsubishi are high on my list too. And for CRTs. I have a NEC MultiSync FE750 and it got me from the first moment I looked upon it in the shop. Also I believe the best image quality I've ever seen was on a high-end Mitsubishi DiamondTron monitor. That thing made EIZO run for its money...

    I have seen the light...and it's a 21" flat panel

Which brands are considered good for LCD monitors? I like SONY for design, but I've seen some pretty high response times, 20 to 30ms. I also wonder when the technology of LCD (and derivatives) will completely make CRT monitors obsolete. In two years? Four? Eight?

    Networking Question

    Networking Question

Isn't this creating communication (identity) conflicts? And, second, if a PC is sharing a connection (ICS or NAT), I'm expecting the clients to have direct connectivity problems, but I was experiencing problems (with the server) too... that was the thing that bugged me most. :(

    Networking Question

Do you connect to the Internet via a local server? I used to have that configuration with my roommate (I was server-ICS, he was connecting via me) but certain functionalities wouldn't work.
