    Spam from your gateway

I was being facetious... I guess I should have been more over the top. Actually, I've never had a problem with MSN messenger... I think SP1 gives you the ability to uninstall it from add/rem programs. The binaries might be on my computer, but they never run(pretty much ditto for IE).

actually, from my point of view the administrations have been "going up against big oil(and other neergy providers) and the big 3 auto makers". Both industries are regulated and ARE under control to a major extent. I think there are a few loop holes, like SUVs... but mostly I see the problem of...

    Which system to sell?

in that case, dont bother buying anything for the computer you are selling. just strip it out.. The largest part(s) I would sell together are the mobo/CPU as a combo and maybe the RAID card and drives together.

maybe the solution is price fixing that keeps mdeical care to a reasonable level vs a healthcare system doomed from the start... make private companies figure out how to operate with a fixed amount of income.

    Which system to sell?

i was thinking that piecing up the system might get you more money as well. Maybe sell the system in a usable state, but take out the RIAD card and drives and sell them seperately... It's hard to say if that is a fair price... I wouldn't pay that much simply because I'm not interested in RAID...

US government agency takes on Pop-up software

i usually recomend AVG, ad-aware, and the google toolbar (as a popup stopper) where I work. I find it incredibly hard to get most people to try moz/firebird/thunderbird... you'd think I asked them to trade children with the family down the street.

    Antique SCSI transfer modes

From what I remember, it looked like the pin got pushed in and wasn't soldered to the PCB cleanly. I think it's something you could fix yourself if you had an EE degree or just some good electronics soldering experience. Of course, I think that would void your warranty.

Not trying to dell-bash, I'm refering to the vomit box makers in general.
