crap handy, this steam client seems a bit... unresponsive. I havent played since 1.5 (I started playing at 1.1). If you want I can host a server, I have 384kbit/sec and used to host several HL servers on my linux box... Maybe steam will finally dl and fully install and I can start...

This is the conclusion I came to after a couple of hours of onliune research. They're supposed to have better range than the comparable models from other companies. Aparently their setup options are about average, I didnt see any complaints nor complements other than it was easy to setup.

heh, i got a retail 160GB DM+9 with 8MB cache(retail)... has 1 year minus about a week warranty... I also have a 80GB DM+9 with 2MB cache(OEM)... I believe it came with a 3 year warranty.
