The new one makes more noise from its power brick fan than the actual 360 itself. Shame it took them 5 years to fix it. Old problems like scratching of DVDs remain however.

No probs. Once you've mastered the Izzy, Free Pistol is the next step. If you scaled the air pistol target out it would be like the Free target at 40m. 50m and .22LR means indoor practice is limited to dry firing, good news is another Russian gun contends in the world class stage, the Toz 35.

Connect LAN to Internet via cell phone?

Tether the phone to PC via USB (may need an app). Turn on Internet connection sharing. Plug this PC into the WAN port of the 54G. ICS should provide the IPs as required for other devices that are connected to the 54G. Edit: not too good for failover (given ICS can only be selected on one...

For movies I like as wide as possible yet without having to pan my head. Waiting on more 3D capable projectors. Resolution of the source material is also key, normal NTSC SD looks pretty bad on a large screen.

It's 34 degrees, and snowing outside, in Northern Kalifornia???WTF?

Biggest problem I have with the Elantras, if the engine is running, it's not possible to lock the doors from the outside (i.e. with a second remote fob). No remote start. So to pre-warm means taking a certain risk. Prob the same with most modern cars to avoid being locked out I guess.

Go with the Panasonic between those two. You will find many BD players also do a decent job upconverting DVDs. If worried when watching 4:3 content, often the cable box let's you switch the black sidebars to gray, to avoid burn in.
