question Differences between Sanyo's AA eneloops and Panasonic's AA eneloops?

They're sold here and there. There are LSD and non-LSD true D cells out there. I'm using Tenergy Centura D cells. They're 8Ah and LSD. PowerEX claims 9.5AH for their Imedion LSD cells, but they're a lot more money. The power supply is a benchtop laboratory style power supply. I have a few...

question Differences between Sanyo's AA eneloops and Panasonic's AA eneloops?

I'm using Tenergy Centura D cells. They's LSD and 8Ah. I saw reports on CandlepowerForums that they had lower internal resistance than the PowerEX LSD cells. NiMH D cells are expensive to get into simply because the charger costs so much.

question Differences between Sanyo's AA eneloops and Panasonic's AA eneloops?

Glad I could help. I've done both methods myself. I was doing a runtime test of a lantern last night and found 3 of the 4 D cell NiMH batteries were under .25V this morning. I set my power supply to 1.2V, the current limit to 100mA and connected each one until they got to .8V. Took 15-30...

    LED flashlights

For which? I don't buy lights with proprietary batteries. The L6 uses 26650s and the Meteor M43 uses high current 18650s. I got Keeppower protected 26650 cells for the L6 and Samsung 30Q button top unprotected cells for the Meteor M43 since they're in parallel and the current draw is too high...

Hardforum and servethehome both use Xenforo. It's pretty much interchangeable with vB from an end user usability standpoint IMO. It has some nice improvements though. Specifically on mobile devices.

Attempting to edit my post with mobile Firefox on my tablet caused it to make another new post and leave the original in place even though I clicked Edit Post. I can't delete the extra posts, but I was able to edit them on my laptop.

    LED flashlights

I play with use them. 6600 lumens is nothing to sneeze at, but yes it's not a throwing light. For that, my neutral white Convoy L6 arrived today, but I don't have any batteries for it yet. They're on backorder. :frusty:

question Differences between Sanyo's AA eneloops and Panasonic's AA eneloops?

It probably is at too low of a voltage for the charger to recognize. Connect it in parallel with a good charged one for a few seconds. Or hook it up to a power supply set to 1.2V with a low current limit of like 100mA for a minute.

So I sort of accidentally bought a Dark Grey Noctigon 4*18650 Meteor M43 with Nichia NW 219CT LEDs. The $50 off coupon code didn't hurt. :bomb: Do not look in flashlight with remaining good eye :beye:

    SAMSUNG SV843 2.5" enterprise 960GB SATA III V1 MLC VNAND $169.99

Interesting. I don't really have anywhere in need of such a drive. Granted, I'm using a 1TB 850 EVO as my DVR drive in my server, but it's only seen 1.38TB of writes so I'm less than 1% of it's rated endurance and it will probably last way beyond its rated lifetime should I actually get there.

    Best movie you've seen

So my 3D copy of Captain America: Civil War arrived on Blu-ray yesterday but I haven't even watched my copy of Avengers: Age of Ultron yet. I suppose I should do that first. I've also got the whole season 2 of Agent Carter recorded and unwatched and the 2nd half of the 3rd season of Agents of...

    HP Buying Samsung's Printer Division

No, I meant stealing the whole printer. Like pulling a Mission Impossible-esque heist to get one instead of buying it. Hence the joke. I have a networked B&W Brother laser printer I use when I need one. But, I don't use it much.

    Windows 10

So, I had another instance of Windows 10 just rebooting my computer randomly for an update. This time on my laptop. It hadn't been rebooted in probably over a week. I had been using sleep. I had a browser open and was using the computer. I stepped away for a minute or two to use the...

    LED flashlights

So my Astrolux S41 with Nichia 219b LEDs came yesterday. It's a fun little light. The turbo mode is just silly for the size of the light. The light also heats up rather quickly in the top few brightness settings and requires a very high current battery, but that's not surprising or...

    LED flashlights

I found confirmation that they're in series for this light, not parallel. The 6800lm is definitely duration limited. Look at the specs: Mode 5: 2625 lumens / 2.8 hrs, Turbo: 6800 lumens / 2.6 hrs If you get 2625lm for 2.8 hours you can't get 6800lm for 2.6 hours. The best I could find it...

    LED flashlights

The 3500s are better than the 3400s for high current draw applications, but there are better high current batteries. The Sony VTC6 (unprotected) is the best of them, but are expensive and fairly hard to get. The vapers are buying them up like crazy. The Samsung INR18650-30Q (unprotected) is...
