NFC is for phones. Happy with the WiFi and 4k. 7FPS is a bit rough, but with 30MP and CF I understand that can't be helped.
I thought phones had the BlueTooths and Wi-Fi also. You can go slower than 7FPS if it is too fast.

They do. 7FPS is a bit slow. My understanding was that 30MP at >7fps would exceed the available bandwidth of CF cards.
"Back in the day," and additional MOTOR DRIVE for you camera gave you 3.5 fps. And that was bad-ass. The 6 fps you got with a Nikon F3 and MD4 motor drive was crazy insane. I thought the 2 fps "auto winder" on my brothers Minolta was awesome.
The 5D4 specs don't "WOW" me much. The extra MP is nice but if there are no DR and noise improvements would a 5D3 owner really need to upgrade?
Which is the same price as the 5D3 when it was introduced. Personally, I'm done buying DSLRs unless I have a significant change in my life situation. I wish the Nikon DL24-85 would launch already though.
The big question is if there will be a good deal on the 24-105 II with the 5D IV as a kit. Unfortunately we don't know if the lens will be any good. The estimated price is rather low at $1100, so the lens may be just a somewhat better version of mediocre. I could really use the lens next week, but would not need the body until the next jungle event in early 2017.
That's not a very nice thing to say about your mom.Mother******!!!
Well, why didn't you just say that before?Card was declined for some reason. Citibunk.

Perhaps some sort of "fraud alert" from the bank and they killed the transaction.
More linky gremlins for Lunar. ^^^^^ That link above launches a reply W/quote for message 3474?!?
NVS2801 here.
Possibly horrible specs for 5D4. If they turn out to be true.
- anti-alias filter.
- SD slot is UHS-1 only.
- 21 frame buffer when shooting RAW to CF slot.
- 19 frame buffer when shooting RAW to SD slot.
- 7 frame buffer when shooting dual pixel RAW (possibly interesting feature).
Bump the resolution up, then hamper it with an OLPF?!? Buffer also seems tiny for a $3500 camera and when compared to the 1Dx, D5, D500. I know the 5D4 isn't a sports/action/PJ camera but wouldn't a wedding shooter want a little more buffer? Come on Canon. Do you really think someone will buy a 5D4, INSTEAD of a 1Dx if the buffer was 40-50 frames deep? 21 seems crippling.
I estimate throughput is ~90 frames in the first 30 seconds, about the same as the 5D III. That's plenty for event photography and weddings.![]()
Isn't the buffer of the mark iii 15-18 RAWs (give or take depending on the CF card)??? So the mark iv is only a tiny bit better? Seems the buffer was increased just enough to keep up with the jump from 6 to 7 fps. You'd think Canon would increase the buffer more than 20% over a 4 yo camera even if it's "not needed" just to tick a feature box.
And the SD slot that everybody complains about being slow is still not as fast as it could be? Another head scratcher.
Buffer aside, I think the big WTF is the OLPF. 5DSr, D810, K1, Sony, etc don't have these filters anymore and with the nice bump is resolution the mark iv give you why cripple it with such a filter?
Well, if it's a turd Canon will have to cut the price or revel in low sales if it really misses the mark. I don't really see the issue.
If true, this is some bad news for Nikon![]()
What's a near year delay between friends? If true, this is some bad news for Nikon![]()
What's a near year delay between friends?
There could be technical problems or perhaps it's not economical. Aren't you waiting for the D750 replacement?
Yep. They realized everyone hates taking photos with their cell phones due to the lack of a viewfinder. They're eliminating their mirrorless cameras too.Maybe Nikon wised up and realized nobody wants such a camera without a viewfinder.
Well this is interesting and welcomed.
Tamron's updated, 150-600mm f/5-6.3 (G2) includes a tripod collar that is Arca-Swiss compatible. Revolutionary!!! Do the Canon big white's or Nikon's big blacks have A-S collars?!?
Does Canikon not include A-S collars on their big teles because buyers will assume they suck and want to upgrade anyways?
