Well, if it's a turd Canon will have to cut the price or revel in low sales if it really misses the mark. I don't really see the issue.
Yes. There is no issue yet, as the camera is not even for sale. :lol:
I'd expect it to be about $500 less within 6 months, depending on exchange rates.
Canon indicated the specific areas targeted for improvement based on market response to the 5D III.
Increased resolution, better AF including f/8, faster framing rate than any other FF mid-sized body configuration, improved DR, DP AF, DP RAW, wireless connectivity, etc. are not to be sneezed at.
Regardless, the 5D III is such a workhorse that many pros are not planning to upgrade soon.
What Canon needs is some better consumer FF bodies, i.e., an update to the 6D.
It would be nice if the 5DsR were updated with a better sensor, but that is not likely for a while.
