It's much, much, much more complicated than that. IPS type panels are prone to image sticking, far more than VA type. Just about every aspect of the design and manufacturing process can contribute to or be a factor in image sticking.

I had some 8am classes in college. They weren't my favorite.

There's an 8" Zenpad that's very similar the Lenovo Tab3 8" from a HW perspective, but it's a little more expensive at $129.99. Of course I don't think I can get a Tab3 8" for $109.99 after tax and shipping either (since pretty much only Lenovo sells it so far).

I'm pretty sure they have a restocking fee on most items. Amazon is pretty good if you want to do that, but if you abuse their return policy by doing it too often they will ban you.

Well, the magical fantasy answer is that the grid will be very smart and know your schedule. So your car will charge at some point overnight and be charged in the morning, but not necessarily start charging as soon as you plug it in. If you need to use your car unexpectedly at midnight, good luck.

ARM cores are not equal to Intel's cores. They probably don't sustain 1.7gHz for very long either. The processors in phones sure don't, though the NAS could have a heatsink and fan on it.

Clearly it's got some issues with the overhead of the hardware. It might not have very good HW acceleration of the 10GbE. I could push more BW than that using iperf and used only a few percent CPU with the Connectx3 in Windows 10. My RAID cards also use single digit CPU when pushing > 1GB/sec.

It's probably not really 7nm. Like the 14nm process they're making The RX 480 on isn't really 14nm, but 20.

It works fine now after I unplugged this USB flash drive. Got me... It works with it plugged back into the hub too. I guess the controller got into some weird state that was causing explorer to hang when it was accessing it.

sfc /scannow found nothing, but after I unplugged an older USB memory stick from my USB 3 hub (that's always plugged in there) the shell loaded and everything seems normal.

Once this scan is done I will reboot and log into the second account directly and see if it's any different. I tried doing the switch user and logging into it when it I still had the black screen and no shell.

Manually launching explorer.exe does nothing. The registry shows explorer.exe as the shell.

Okay, so I got it uninstalled by loading appwiz.cpl from the task manager and after rebooting I now have no shell on the computer. After I enter my password I get a black screen and no shell. I can launch task manager after I Control+Alt+Delete but am pretty much stuck on what to do next.
