    little linux file system help

Let's say "hypothetically" that I: Installed the newest version of XenServer (5.6) over an older version (4.1) completely wiping out the partition and file tables and "deleting" my VMs. How can I recover those files? I do not know what the file system was at the time of deletion. They also...

Zombie processes on an RDP server?

So the problem seems to be the OS the app is running on and not the access method? I have worked around similar OS incompatibilities by virtualizing XP onto the server until a fully compatible version was released.

Sorry, I don't know specifics about that. You might be able to setup a proxy or VPN tunnel with a computer over here in order to get it activated. Just a thought.

    100% broadband coverage

    1. I guess I don't understand why people who choose the simple life would also really want to bring rubbish entertainment into their life. 2. Why can not rural workers like miners adjust the price of their product so as to pay for the things that make it worth it to work out there?

Phone wiring uses the middle pair for line 1 and the next center pair for a second line if there is one. This corresponds to the blue and green pair respectively for 568B wiring scheme). Conversion-to-digital photo service

Thanks all! I took the day to do some culling and it looks like the final count is now closer to 300 (mix of prints, neg and slides). I wouldn't be horribly upset if I lost them all. One might justifiably wonder why I would spend ~$100 to digitize pictures I don't mind losing. Still working on...

That's the top plate. Headers are over doors and windows. Normally the header above the door would be 2by with plywood between, with the width determined by the span. Not a big concern by any means, just something to talk about. ps. The picture that remained in my previous post was not...

I figure someone here has experience with recharging old R12 car A/C systems. There has to be a cheaper alternative for those of us driving older vehicles. I mean at...
