It is important to understand that the study of religion is a field of rigorous academic study. You can not-believe in it but still know about its tenets and and how to make arguments. Religious graduate schools are full of people who want to learn more about religion irrespective of whether...

    Bible Thread

It is logically and empirically impossible to prove that God doesn't exist. Richard Dawkins doesn't even claim it. In order to logically prove that God doesn't exist you would have to have fundamental knowledge of all things. YOU would be God. Dawkins claims that God's existence is very unlikely.

What? The origins of a thing give a thing authority but are not the contents of a thing. The authority of a thing lends credibility but does not give instruction; that comes from the contents. I don't think I understand your premise. David, are you PUI or maybe PWS (... without sleep)? :D

My objective is actually not to convince anyone of my views. My only wish is for people to honestly evaluate what the Bible says. And I do intend to expose logical fallacies in thinking. I would expect anyone to do the same for me.

You have the right to feel about it however you want, of course. Why is it that you despise it so? ----- Mein Kampf was first published in 1925. Hitler first came to power after the end of WWI, in 1918. Although it is not true, let's assume Mein Kampf lost its influence at the end of WWII...

You are right, correlation is no where close to causation. The increase in solar activity since the 1700s also was not caused by industrialization or human activity. We need to be good stewards of where we live. This includes knowing what we can and can not affect. Individually, we have...

Merc is on some serious ATI crack, your DNS name shows up just like it would with any other DNS service. dnydns also seems to be the most widespread. It is preconfigured in smoothwall.
