Have you ever had the wrong OS on a box?

OMG, once I was on my way to school and I realized I HAD put the wrong OS on my box. Luckily my first class was gym and I had time to change it. It was an incredible amount of work setting up the dual Xeons again. I thought things like this only happened to me. j/k Greg

    Walmart's $598 ECS Wonder-Laptop

After about a year of owning my A535 the motherboard died. This was a month before the warranty ran out. It took the repair center a month to get it back to me. Now another six months later, the laptop has died again. Good thing I purchased the extended warranty as I actually kind of expected...

I really have no more stake in this than any one else but I'm surprised by the glib and clearly ignorant and uninformed responses. Has everyone stopped critically thinking? Is this stuff just over peoples heads? Are you people more arrogant than I even imagined? It is far easier to be a skeptic...

They shot the rack in the side and the bullet passed through both sides of the case, one set of cards and through an aquarium. (Can you feel the drama?) The other set of cards is more to the rear of the rack on the other side of the drvie array.

    We are turning communist

    We are turning communist

It is one thing to own the responsibility for poor decisions. It is quite another to have to bear the burden alone. What I'm not going to do tonight

New Orleans sees Cat 1 and 2 storms almost annually. The ONLY way to lessen the damage significantly was to improve the levee system. You can always throw money at a problem but that is not mangement in any sense of the word. Even so money was alloted to fix the levees in decades past.
