Actually the fan on the hard drive rack is removable. I replaced mine with a Antec temp controlled 92mm fan. As long as the fan can report RPM to the circut board, it works fine. Bozo :mrgrn:

Do you have to press F6 and install drivers for the SATA HD? Try installing XP with SP2 slipstreamed into it. SP2 installed a boat load of drivers and updates. Bozo :mrgrn:

I've used XPLite also. It works as advertised. You can really clean windows out. Using XPLite to shrink XP, making an image of the results and then put that image on the IRam PCI card would be the bee's knees. Bozo :mrgrn:

I usually go to a place called Battery World for replacement batteries. They are a lot cheaper and Battery World properly disposes of the old batteries for you. Bozo :mrgrn:

The latest Intel MBs I bought have 4 SATA ports and only 1 PATA port (for two drives). I used a SATA hard drive and a SATA Plextor CD/DVD burner without and problems. Bozo :mrgrn:
