I did get my script working, finally. Now I need to polish it up and think of other things it can do. It's a simple thing right now. It makes a folder and copies a bunch of small, no-install .exe files into that folder, puts some shortcuts to those programs in the start menu and then downloads...

Oops I did it again...your BMI?

It took me about five years to find a full time permanent job, out of college. I hate being a full time contractor and I am deathly frightened that I'd never find another decent job. Also, I hate moving with the same passion I exhibit for Western Digital and republicans.

Well, I have 31 years of interactions with women to go by, and so far I got nothin'. Here's the ideal that I'm looking for in a lady: 1. A geek - these are about as common as unicorns as far as I can tell, but the girls who like comic books or dungeons and dragons or hard drives are the...

Prove it. They aren't here. I have no idea where the fuck they are, but they aren't any place that I am willing to go, so they might as well not exist. I see lots of 24 - 30 year olds with three or four kids (with three or four different fathers), no education, divorced and looking for the...

No tropical islands. All I'd do if I went someplace else is exactly what I do at home: read, get on the internet and listen to music. Why waste the time and money to travel for that? I'm not getting on a plane again until the whole flying experience no longer feels like incarceration, either.

I just decided to buy a nifty new Thinkpad T61. I already have a T60, but that machine is for my personal business and not for my trainer job. So I bought another one. It came with a 100GB 7200rpm SATA drive. A not-known-for-reliability Hitachi drive, but a 100GB SATA drive nonetheless...
