That much data moving does the GPU become the bottleneck? There doesn't seem to be a standard way of stating what the interface is. there's a bunch of them that have pcie listed as the interface and others are pcie nvme. Others just listed as SSD with no interface listed.

Has anyone run speed test on the SSD pcie nvme hard drives on any of the laptops?

Which current laptops offer the new NVME SSD interface? Lenovo Y 920 for one...

Went with Moto Android One, X4. 325.00, 150.00 credit from google for returning Nexus 5X. 175.00 for an enterprise phone. Only bad is 7.1.1 no Oreo yet. Staying with Fi. Support is worth the cost.

Seems to be a bit easier to find stuff then 7. Some stuff is embedded, deeper, and many pull down menus forward. So far, so good. No irrational stuff on my end...

TMobile One is 70.00, and supposed to be all included. However, the 'unlimited' isn't, since over a certain level, you are throttled. I used 6 gigs this month, total Fi bill, 80.00. Prior, when I'm working other jobs, the bill has been 30-40 dollars. Thinking stay with Fi, and live with it...

My problem with my SM backplane was driver support, and inadequate, quite, fan solutions for the box.

Astrill: High cost. Weird billing company. VERY fast, near 120 mb/sec. Great software. NordVPN:Sucky software. Half cost of Astrill, for 1/10 the speed, or less. Terrible software. So far, no weird billing.

Having problems with Nexus 5X battery. I start work at 7am, and go all day, sometimes till 10 at night. Program I have to use to enter scores seems to eat battery life, and need some sort of recharge around 7pm. Runs on chrome.

Nexus 5X updated to 7.1.1 yesterday. Don't see any difference from 7.0. More later.

Klipsch has a set. Haven't tried em. 150-200.

Ideal would be a case with the front panel 10-12 5.25 inch drive bays, though that would be overkill.

Trying to limit data use this month. See how the tricks work out. Last bill was around 65 dollars. Lots of auto updates with 5x, and, it gives you free storage on the cloud, but charges you for data transfer, and with 1 mb pics, adds up, quick, and it checks often. turned that off.

Was the DR520 the original drum in the printer? Yes, we copy and use that much. In two years, with massive litigation, we did that alone. Most is copying, or printing B and W from emails, documents etc. I'm just figuring out how to use the stuff we had in the estate, after a death.
