32" Vizio LED was 440 dollars. The light sensor didn't work. Returned it. Replaced with a LED Samsung 27" SA 350. 249.00. Now maybe the power supply will last more then a year.

I liked Conan. Enough nudity, sex, and voluptuous and firm women to keep me in the story line. Conan was one of my favorite characters. A little morality, honor, treated women well, well MOST women, and lots of killing bad guys. The new movie did enough of that to be acceptable.

Sucker Punch. Maybe the most Mercutio movie that's legal to watch. Horrible. Bunch of nubile girls being tortured in a mental institution. Only good part is the mental fly out stuff is like watching a bad video game.

It's cold here, so the i7 is running, and the server. All I've been getting are huge projects. The current one is 7000, and it's about 4130 right now. Last one took nearly two weeks to finish. Can't seem to get the SMP hardware to work, so I'm clunking along using about 15% of my processor...

Forgot to mention the blade that lasted so long was a Merkur that came with the razor.

Considering the i7's you buy, I can see that. Still, it's Passmark score is huge: 6718. Is it possible the other components in the laptop just can't get it data fast enough? In theory, the 2670QM should be faster, according to passmark, then my i7 940. Still, I don't think it's getting data...

Just switched out the blade for a shick injector blade. REALLY sharp. Takes NO pressure to cut a bunch of hair. Scary.

HP last one, is coming in at nearly 6.0 MBps. Fastest I've ever seen. That's coming in using UT, on the dual xeon server, 11 years old, over Astound, that will do over 120 MBPS.

Quake 3 has a great leap in graphics vs. the earlier versions. Quake 4 was better graphics, but did have some lame maps, well in, IIRC.

She has Verizon one I don't like.

It maybe dual monitors. IIRC, I had to jump through some hoops to get Quake 3 to play with my old 3 monitor setup, and, it wasn't worth the effort. The stuff on the side monitors didn't help much, or add much to the gaming experience. I have to remember to disable the second monitor... Come...

I posted a thread earlier about trying to make my computers flash free, with no joy. I just need it for some of the stuff I use. Hence the concerns about phones running it. For example, when we went to test the internet connection on the iPhone, the websites I use to test both use a flash...

HMMM. My phone usage is mainly to my girlfriend, and she REALLY likes to talk for long periods. One call was 119 minutes. She averages 30-60 minutes a call, calls every other day. Most of this is while I'm at home. The Virgin plan might work, but, that's 45 dollars for 1200 minutes. Republic...

Odd, but I agree with Merc, so far anyway. Probably why I want old hardware around, to play Quake 3-4. I'd really like to be able to play Tex Murphy again. Even though a bit buggy, it was really fun. The Call of Duty games are sitting in my desk. Haven't had the urge to get them out and play.

Howell great link. For most, the blades I've got last one or two shaves. That's 100 blades for 16 dollars. So, .16 cents a shave if I use them once, .8 cents for twice. Better then .50 cents each for Disposables that cut me pretty consistently.

He's not an idiot, but, English is a second language. Also, in this area, it is a status symbol. Not to mention it's his work connection, so getting the newest model, in the hope that it is the best for his purpose, isn't an idiot thing.

I guess my roommate was misinformed. Perhaps the 4S designation, for some stupid reason, made him think the phone was 4G capable, or actually fast. His mistake. In that case, his 3G numbers are normal. He's not happy. Why would you buy what is supposed to be the best phone on the market...

The Merkur gets really close. It has areas that are scalloped out, so that the blade gets REALLY on your skin, without breaking it.

Howell: Don't really know. The Merkur double edge, that I got one of with the razor, lasted 7 days, but if LiamC is right, I should have changed at 6. I did, and the problem seems to be going away. They are 50 cents each, however. After I run out of 7 AM Platinum, I may give this variety pack...
