    Something Random

Work is no place for politics. Why don't you try basing your opinion of someone based on the way they treat you personally rather than on whatever the political viewpoints are that you think they might have? Do you even know how that bumper sticker got there? Give me a freaking break! You're...

Should I buy a Seagate HDD?

I have a Seagate 80GB 7200 RPM drive that has been running almost continuously for 3 years. I have no problem with Seagate drives and would not hesitate to buy one again. I'd probably lean toward them or Hitachi before I bought another WD or Maxtor product. For performance I'd go to...

    News: XP SP2 is out

It should not be a suprise that a lot of programs/apps are broken by SP2. They were originally developed for a platform that has holes galore. Now that many of the holes have been filled and a modest firewall has been added, I would expect a lot of apps and programs to require an update...

Hi Merc- Are those mobile chips inferior to their desktop counterparts in any way? Just curious...I would not mind trading in my 2500+ (@3200+) if I could get a couple hundred extra Mhz of Folding performance and reduced temperatures. I'm hoping this is a free lunch but I'm sure there's a...

Yeah..it is definitely a team sport that requires good defense. Too bad Larry Brown could not have had his Pistons in there. That's a team that knows great teamwork and excellent defense. If he did have his own team the gold would have definitely been a lock for the USA.

    Painting Computer part

BTW, I think you should be able to get by with one coat depending on the color and if you apply it correctly. It depends on how good you are at spraying and how different the the spray color is from the base plastic color.

    Painting Computer part

I just use Krylon or similar. Make sure you thoroughly sand and clean your plastic parts before you spray them. When plastic parts are molded, there is lubricant on them to facilitate removal of the part from the die. Alternatively, you could probably use some sort of degreaser but I...

    XP3200+ Stability issues

Hi Merc. I run my 2500+ at 3200+ speed without any problems (and that is my Folding machine). I'm just using one of those slow spinning 80mm fan Speeze coolers with the copper slug inside (Falconrock?). It's running at default voltage although I used to slightly overvolt it (by about 0.25v)...

You have got to be kidding me. Of course, D3 is fictional. My only point is that in many situations (if you were a space Marine on a station in Mars that is just a mess! :o ), lighting might not be optimal and seeing you enemy may be difficult (to almost impossible). I just finished a...
