It should not be a suprise that a lot of programs/apps are broken by SP2. They were originally developed for a platform that has holes galore. Now that many of the holes have been filled and a modest firewall has been added, I would expect a lot of apps and programs to require an update...

BTW, I think you should be able to get by with one coat depending on the color and if you apply it correctly. It depends on how good you are at spraying and how different the the spray color is from the base plastic color.

Doesn't XP have built in support for UPSs? I know I had my system automatically shutting down using the XP software as long as the UPS can communicate with the system (either via USB or Parallel) I don't see a need for additional software. C
