I didn't see this option but I think it is because most don't update their virus signatures. I don't think it is a 'punishment' by Symantec. I think it is simply a lack of updating (whether the subscription is still 'good' or not). Then, most people never pay to update their subscription...

Adcadet- If you still plan on 'time-shifting' your viewing with a VCR, I would not bother spending much on a TV..the VHS signal is going to suck anyway. But, if use TIVO or DVDs a lot, I can see spending some extra $ on a nicer TV (maybe even with HD). JMO C

I disagree with Tea. You can get a 802.11g dual channel 108mbps wireless router with 4 10/100 ports for as little as $37. A Smoothwall is not worth all the set-up hassel and lost reliability, IMO. Plus the extra space and power that it takes up is another negative.
