Imagine the possibilities! Think of the hundreds of career-ending injuries! Plus, all of the above are something I'd actually watch.

To me football looks like a bunch of guys standing around waiting for a signal to start steamrolling into each other, and then every time the action starts to get interesting the referee blows the whistle and everyone stands around for too long waiting for the next cue to start. In other words, too many lengthy pauses to hold my attention for very long. I have no idea of the rules of the game and I'm not interested in learning. Golf is about the only game which seems more boring to me.

I really wish someone would bring back gladiatorial games. The kind where people chop each other's heads off and the ring gets filled with blood and body parts. At least that would justify a $20 million annual salary when each and every day could be your last.

That's what a ReplayTV/Tivo is for. It's usually right around 30 secs between plays, so as soon as one down is finished, hit the 30sec skip and away you go right into the action again. And you can skip past all the half time crap as a bonus

Yeah, a slow start but great finish. I think the Panthers kicker kicking it out of bounds was what cost them the game. That's something the Giants are quite familiar with.

I was thinking more the Greg Louganis type of acrobatic high-diving... into a solid sheet of ice.
