What is sad is that I'd never fill a 128 GB one. I'm using just over 40 GB on my 250 GB HDD. That is with Windows 7 Ultimate (albeit x86, it still takes up a ridiculous amount of HDD space by itself), Skyrim, various older (but still space-sapping) games and their ISOs, and about 4 GB worth of media.

The goal with large SSD drives is to replace SAN with large arrays of mecanical drives. Only one of these can put to shame a 40x 15Krpm HDD SAN in terms of IOps. Where SSDs won't replace mecanical drives soon is when large capacity is needed, without the high IOps requirement.

Even the Intel 2.5"x15mm FF drives are powermongers. I'd love to buy standard SATA SSDs in 2TB capacity, but I think that will be a while.
