Areca ARC-1280ML connected to 12 Samsung HD154UI 1.5TB drives. These drives are configured in two arrays; a RAID-10 of 4 and a RAID-6 of 8.
Before I rebooted the system, I verified that both arrays were showing "healthy". Upon reboot, the BIOS declared only 1 array. In windows using the web console, it shows all the other drives, but shows them as "free" (ie. unassigned), and only gives me my RAID-10.
Areca's website isn't particularly useful, and some Googling didn't get very far. I see an option to create an array without initializing the disks, which might do the trick, but I'd love to hear from someone with experience with this.
Thanks.
