ASUS problems

Pretty much all the boards I buy have at least 2 BIOS, some have a third that cannot be written to ever but can work in a pinch.

So here it is 2012, and the BIOS cannot be easily recovered from a bad flash? :rambo:

It's hard to do when you press the power button, the fans start, but no beeps, no video, no hard drive activity, no nothing.

Seems there are still problems. The motherboard will not recognize anything made by LSI, including rebadged Intel. The boards don't show up in the BIOS.
3Ware and Adaptec are fine.
