Can I connect an EVDO modem to an existing network?

Hey guys, I got signed up for a free month of Cricket ISP (basically the same as Verizon's mobile broadband) and I'd like to just plug it into my router to use it on all my home computers. and plug it into my WAN port on my current linksys router? Or better question - would it work?

It would probably work as long as the routers were configured to use different networks (192.168.0.1/24 and 192.168.1.1/24 would be good), but every current data plan from a mobile provider (i.e. unless you're grandfathered in on an old plan) caps at either 200MB or 5GB a month. So you'd have EVDO and "fast" internet service for maybe a day and a half, given the way most of us browse.

Just for he record, Verizon's two data plans are 5GB or 500MB/mo. At least that's what my account rep is giving me.
