If I'm reading correctly it looks like an initiative to improve (market) their drivers better. Note the line in the FAQ about 8 - 10 updates a year, as well as supposed improved customer feedback system.

Well not a good start, their servers are inadequate to handle the load at this time point.

BTW, only I and Doug can post a news/download/link on the front page. PW can submit, just as all of you, but he cannot approve the news/link/downloads. Anytime someone submit a news, this news will appear under his name when it will be approved. This is why you see news posted by PW, JoJo, HellDiver, etc...even if there are in fact only two front page admins.

Radeon VE on BX chipset, W2k get:

"Severe error, INF not found"

I assumed that Its all the same for xp/w2k...

Will try thr official W2k from ATI when I can get it, let you know..

OK, I goofed and now the inf error is gone once I got the right drivers.

ATI should not let you install the wrong drivers, there was no error message about this except a severe inf error message, ATi wake up !!(because I am still asleep).

But where is DVD/Media center. Is this still a separate download, and where is the catalyst versions ? Do I have to download and update ??
