Clear differences exist in mobile phone connection speeds

Complaints about your carrier's speed and the quality of connections may be more related to the phone you use than about the carrier. There are distinct differences in communication capabilities between individual phones and yes, Price matters.

I'm not sure that this is actually surprising, but is it really a case of particular engineering solution, or just that some devices have faster CPUs and are better able to deal with incoming data?
Some of the Apple device scores are a bit lower than I'd expect compared to the generation of hardware, but reading through that list I can definitely see that newer devices are normally faster than older ones and expensive ones are faster than cheaper. Were it just a matter of price, the Nokia phones would probably be somewhat lower on the list and the Apple devices would presumably be higher.

They tested far more devices, this list only contains the top 150. I don't know, but perhaps if you use some Google-Fu you might find the complete list.
