What is that SLC memory for and where does it fit on the board? I expect to use the M4 on the 6GBps port; that's all.

I see no point compared to having the SSD boot drive.

It would speed up a 3TB drive some, but it would be much more effective if it could cache an entire RAID array. That would be worth something.

I would tell them anything but the motherboard changed. Reinstallation due to virus infection or hard disk drive replacement, but not motherboard failure/replacement. According to their EULA, the licence is tied to the motherboard. So replacing the motherboard for any reason might void your licence.

The concerns turned out to be unfounded. Although the message indicated that the reactivation was necessary because the hardware changed, the wizard led to the internet activation and reactivated it with no problem. :cool:
