Hi
I'm wondering what folks are using for silent fans? I've been using Vantec Stealths, but, some are wearing out, after all, it's only been 11 years....

Scythes any good? comments?

The Scuthe sflex SFF92D are pretty far from quiet in my WHS machine. They push a lot more air than the vantec stealth SF9225L I pulled because I felt weren't moving enough air.

Somewhere in time.
I have Panasonic L1A fans running in my system since early 2006. One of them now screeches occasionally on startup but runs fine. There are 5 in the case, but I've diusconnected one as not necessary.

The previous batch (which had no failures but I replaced anyway) ran from early 2000 till mid 2006.

Antec makes fans that are temperature controlled. These are great for exhaust fans in your case. The hotter it gets, the faster they spin. And even then they don't make a lot of noise.

Like this one.
