Firefox 5, Opera 11.11 and Chrome 12 all equal...

Unless it changed today, Chrome is officially at version 16. Of course, it's possible to download the beta version of v.17 as well.

I'm running Chromium 18.0.972.0

Had Chrome (version whatever) installed too because audio notification in Tweetdeck wasn't working in Chromium. But an update to Chromium last week cured that, so uninstalled Chrome 2 days ago as it became redundant.

Prefer Firefox to Chrome/Chromium. Only reason for the later is Tweetdeck.

Chrome is fine for some applications. Firefox's add-on infrastructure and better memory management with large numbers of tabs make it the superior browser for my needs.

I like to use Chrome on Virus-infected systems so that I can otherwise uninstall outdated Adobe shit, since it has its own built-in Flash libraries and PDF reader. I used to think that it worked better for older computers, but it has become at least as heavyweight as Firefox over the course of the last year that it just just as utterly unusable as every other modern browser on old hardware.
