It's a shame they aren't offering just the liquid, or a smaller kit.

Even while a fishtank is more accessible than a server, changing out a part is going to be a messy activity. Not to meantion how much more weight would be added to the raised floor once the servers were racked.

I was thinking it would be a neat display for the living room, just having my two home machines at the bottom of a fish tank. My office machine is already water cooled.

Yes, it would look cool. It would probably not require water/oil changes, and cleaning the tank as often;-)

Wonder if the standard pumps would work if they pumped mineral oil?

Oops, I forget that some people may be allowed to randomly view the internet from work. She does some beautiful work.

I feel I have a relatively sane policy on internet use at work. It is recorded, but not monitored. If there is a problem in the future, you will be held responsible for your actions.

It's not a problem until it is a problem.

Typically they block the social networking sites and other time-wasting sites. Lost productivity is a real problem.

It is, as is picking up a virus, sending harassing e-mails, or downloading porn which is then viewed by someone else who didn't want to see it. The hourly employees are held to a tighter standard, but no sites are completely blocked.

The IT Nazis here block pretty much everything. Even some technical sites and software manufactures. I have been looking for software to monitor remote and headless computers and most sites are blocked.

Even the spell checker for this forum is blocked.
