JBOD array migration

I have a fileserver running XP Pro with a JBOD array of dynamic discs. I want to remove the OS and install Server 2003 and import the array (and all it's data). Does anyone see a problem with this? I know backing up would be a great idea, but frankly I don't have the spare drives to backup ~2TB of information.

Buy floppies. They are cheap thses days.

It should be do able as jbod. You will have to enter the drive manager and import the foreign disks to access the data. And yes, backing up is a good thing to do.

Worse, these days I've moved in with my GF in high-tech central Salinas...I'll have t take my chances...

Well it's already longer than any since Oregon, and it's coming up quickly on that. The last time I lived with a girl for this long was in 2001-2003; and before that 1997-2000. I think this one is good for at least that long.

For the record, I didn't even have to import the disks...it just worked. Sweet.
