Newz: AMD and Rambus deal

AMD has reached a licencing agreement with Rambus .... (you know, that company that was everybody's "yesterday's villian" .... they, of course, said they weren't the real villians ... and, to their credit, the outcomes of several recent litigation suits would tend to lend some credence to their claim).

I still despise Rambus, but as much as I hate them, I have to admit that their XDR technology looks very impressive. A CPU with an integrated XDR memory controller would wipe asses.
