That need an even smaller connector?
SATA data + SATA power are already about the same size as laptop PATA. I wouldn't think that to be a problem.
Hey, I did see something about Intel offering native SATA RAID on laptop chipsets.
I guess that could be interesting to people who want to stuff their laptops full of hard drives.

Ugh. Can we please work on making laptops thinner and lighter. RAID on a laptop.. :roll: I'm going to lose my temper.

Personally I'd like to see better cheap laptops. I wish I could get a $750 laptop at something like the level of quality I put in a $400 desktop machine I build myself.
