I mean, WTF are the Intel doing with a stupod design having one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 and one M.2 PCUe 3.0 2242?

My previous NUCs have a 2.5" bay. At least they could give us a regular M.2.
What is the issue with the P series?

I am omnipresent
They're supposed to be a compromise between the U (ultra low voltage) and H (High performance) mobile CPUs. but the NUC is technically a desktop. They couldn't stuff the high performance mobile CPUs in a device that could literally be made out of heat sink?

I'd rather have m.2 + 2.5" drive than two m.2 as well. Honestly, I don't see why they couldn't have THREE drives supported at that and an extra 12 or 15mm of height on the boxes. It's not like anyone is buying NUCs because they're a half inch too TALL.

I would not have complained about having an H series. ;)
Yet there must have been room for 2280 so that we could use a leftover M.2 SSD instead of that stupid 42mm length.
Those goofy small towers that are NUC Extreme make even less sense.

It's worse than I though. The 2242 M.2 slot only gets one PCIe 3.0 lane.
