Seagate introduces 160GB 5400rpm, 2.5" hard drive

The capacity is achieved with perpendicular recording. The areal density is very high at 1.35Gbit per square inch. Unfortunately, the drive will only be offered with the PATA interface in the beginning, but SATA will come this summer.
