I think I know now why he's so secretive about his work : he's a porno movie producer and photograph that also play in his own productions. That's the reason behind that last comment and his former story about his lost pink ball.

No, I have no poron productions.

I don't know where my pink ball is now. I'm going to the surgeon this week. I don't know if they will give a me a pink ball or another color this time, but that would be well into April.

I think they are still running tests on the LHC. Apparently they can't find the poron, but they know more about what it isn't. ;)

They thought they had accelerated some Higgs porons beyond the speed of light, but then figured out that their meter had gotten into an over-excited state, which bent the scale disproportionately. But they are anticipating exciting results in wave/particle duality with vagon entanglement.

The pink ball

The condition (includes a list of alternative diagnoses such as hip impingement and osteoarthritis).

If he can lose that pink ball, he's truly blind. I also have a hard time imagining Mooner doing a sport where he can develop an hernia.
How does a Sports Hernia happen?

Repetitive twisting and shear forces encountered during high level athletics can lead to injury of the lower abdominal wall.
Simply doesn't fit the profile.

It may be TPS. Anyway that is not as bad today. However, it may be relative as the cast is really killing me. :(

I would consider a porn star to be a high-level athlete ;)

Depends on the person and the activities involved.

It actually sounds REALLY weird but I'm kind of acquainted with a BBW (i.e. "Big Beautiful Woman" - a 230lb. 23-year-old) camgirl. She actually has to work out and be careful with her food intake because her freaky genetics let her be... shockingly proportional for her size and she wants to keep it that way. Which is not something you'd suspect at all. Also somewhat shocking: she started making more money when she gained a bunch of weight. And before anyone asks, I just fix her computers.

Unless she is a seven footer, the woman must be obese or at least significantly overweight. Maybe fetish pays more?

It is stiff, hurts like hell and I can hardly move. At least the stitches not to be removed. Next week I start therapy. :(

I haven't seen that one in about 18-19 Years. At the time it was released I was stationed overseas and saw it on the cable after I was rotated back to the states. I vaguely remember some latexed character with odd gonads, but did nor associate it with that film. I guess it made more of an impression to the younguns. ;)

If that lasts longer than 4 hours seek medical attention immediately.

Well, it will be about a month. But regarding that other thing, no thanks. It would probably kill me in far less than four hours.

UPS is really annoying me lately, constantly delivering around 6PM or later. Just had a super annoying brick wall talk with the call center that they deliver to all homes 9-7PM though in my experience it can be later than that even. Doesn't matter if you declare it as a home office they don't care, if it is a residential address they call it residential. Thing is it used to be no problem to get packages around 3PM, I'm only asking to get them before 5PM so I can leave from work.

Can you really expect special treatment in a resudental neighborhood? Is fedex or hold at station an option?

UPS is very reliable for me but I suspect they had a route change. They used to deliver every day around three, Now it's every day around six.

Around here UPS stays on one schedule for a year or two and then it changes. During the holiday season there are often two deliveries; sometimes one is after 7pm.

The school that occupies the rest of the building where I work apparently tripled or quadrupled the number of access points they're using. And they're all on "automatic" channel selection. It is no longer possible for me to have a 2.4GHz WLAN in my office.

I'm surprised you haven't set up a 2.4gHz wifi jammer already to screw with them.

5.0gHz WiFi exists for a reason. ;-)

I thought you moved to a new location.

I thought they were about to move since they found a new location (which the new location obviously meets Merc's approval)? but hadn't moved yet.

Anyway, I'm having my own WLAN issues at home. Since the new neighbours moved in, my WLAN has gone to crap, (lower perfromance overall, and the TV (with WLAN adapter) now has trouble connecting to the WLAN for video streaming).

The problem, the neighbours have their WLAN router set to 'auto' channel (they are on Bigpond), and from what I can gather they have a cordless phone that also operates on 2.4GHz... (At least that is what it looks like from the scanning/snooping I've done).

I would change to 5GHz but 1, my router doesn't support it (only b/g), 2, the kids netbooks only have b/g WLAN adapters.

PS. For those in Oz, the default router Bigpond supply (Thomson POS) by default uses 'auto' channel, and AFAIK the only way to change the setting is to Telnet into the device and manually change it, the default GUI shows the setting, but doesn't allow you to change it! :(

For my apt. there were numerous other nearby people using WiFi. I just manually went through all the channels to find what worked best. The auto selection in my router was not dynamic and did not select even close to the best. I wanted to test for the worst case scenario and found that sometime between 5-8pm on a weekday the best time to test reception for that was when the most usage occurred but that may different where you live.

If I was even the slightest unethical, I'd probably just steal BW from one of the unsecured neighbors and save $50/month. I actually can get a higher signal from my neighbors than my own router. Unfortunately, I'm not and beyond that I want to keep my email address long-term, which is tied to my ISP.

If you can't change the settings/channels in your "free" router supplied by your ISP, it is time to spend some money to buy your own.
