I'm seeking a USB-powered fan for travel use. It is hot in the evenings and there will be no electricity in August. I have one that looks like a small table fan, but it is too bulky. Are there any ~120 mm fans that run on 5V and push a decent amount of air at ~2.5W? :shaking:

Any fan will do as long as it can start at 5V (they usually operate at 12V) :

I doubt you'll find a 120mm fan that will turn at more than 1500rpm with only 5V though.
There's one already made to operate from USB and it produces 44CFM at 1200rpm (or at least that's what the marketing department wants us to believe).

Very much so. It is an 80mm fan, so air volume isn't exceptional at quieter speeds, but it will get the job done and is very easy to use/transport.
I obtained one of those fans and it works fine. The speed control is nice, but it would be better with an off position. Are there any drivers for the fan? I did not see any online.

Off? I just unplug it. I don't know how it could use drivers, only the power connections are even wired to anything.
