Something else to try - simply rename the .ost to .pst, and try to import the file. (PST and OST internally both use the same data structures to store mail, so it might work. Similar in a way to WMV and WMA, as they both use the same file format).

I can confirm it does work for Win7 Pro keys. My Win10 installation running in a VM was installed clean from the 1511 media, and activated fine with a Win7 Pro key.

@time, thanks for references. I've tested a few of the keys that we tried previously, and most top out at 40-50MB/s sequential read/write, yet when I eventually found the specs of some of the certified usb keys, most are way above 200MB/s sequential read/write... I'll pass on the idea to throw...
