Installed 6. Didn't like 7 Ultimate. Ran it in compatibility mode, no luck. Don't see any reason for it. Windows burner pretty much worked.

Buck and David have been EXCELLENT people to deal with. I'd suggest being civil, and, they might even be able to give you what you are after, at an excellent price.

Apparently 6.6.1.4 is the latest update, but, it won't download, and, it's 12.95 and I think shipping for a DVD to install the update. Not sure why I need the update? Been sick as a dog today, and slept most of the day. Busy weekend for work, and, I hope this thing is on the down side.

My issue is more the less then 2 year old version, 9, that I bought extra downloads for, that I don't have access to.

As I said, I bought 9, and it worked fine with 7. I also bought their extended download package, and, they won't even email me back on it. When I try and load 6, with 7 Ultimate 64 bit, I get a message from MSFT that this program has known incompatibility problems, and, it won't load.

Or perhaps they need to be hardwired with ECC ram. Maybe that's Kelly's secret:-)

6 doesn't appear to work on 7 64 bit. Does it work on 32? Feel free to post something more informative.

I've burned something like one disk in a very long time. Worked fine for that.

I followed something similar, but used a USB hard drive, rather then a flash drive. I also kind of am thinking a PATA SSD is pretty much the same as an IDE drive. I tried changing the boot order in the bios, and, the computer would not boot off the external USB drive, even though the bios...

Thanks I think I'll use some old drives from my laptops, put them in external housings, and use them to boot 7. Currently partitioning a 40 gig, and, I think I'll take the Kingspec PATA drive that's kind of slow, and put 32 bit on it, and 64 bit on the 40 gig.

Booting, surfing the web, opening software, just feels a bit slow. And yes, it's a T2500.
