question Winamp on computer sync to Android no SD support?

Hi, Sorry for not responding, and I don't think I'll be able to answer your questions, but here is some info: Any Android 3.0+ device uses MTP for file transfers between host and device (pretty common knowledge these days). The MTP specification itself does have playlist support, however from...

The sad state of AMD's processors

From my personal experience, I've rarely had an issue with them on the older GPUs (like those found in the northbridge, eg 945G/GMA3100). I've haven't used them with anything newer than Core2 based chipsets (G43), so can't tell for newer CPU integrated GPUs.

The sad state of AMD's processors

Intel problem, since they are the ones writing the drivers for *nix. AFAIK, there were some known issues with IVB based graphics, but have been fixed in recent Intel driver updates. However for Ivy Bridge based CPUs, you really do need the Intel 12.07 driver set. (Mesa 8.0, Intel 2.20.0, Linux...

The sad state of AMD's processors

I don't know what AMD engineers where thinking with the current Bulldozer design, since they had a good design previously. But alas, you can't keep throwing cores at a design (just ask Sun about the Sparc T3s) and expect performance, you need a good IPC (instructions per cycle) coupled with a...

    2TB drives under the duopoly

Just acquired my first TB+ capacity HDD, a Hitachi 2TB 7K3000 (aka HDS723020BLA642) ... Functions as advertised, and the performance is a nice improvement over the 250GB WDC Blue drive it replaced. PS. This is a 512byte sector drive, not one of the 4K drives.

Small Size LCD TVs (up to 26").

FYI, we've decided to hold off buying for the moment, as all vendors are currently refreshing their TV ranges here in Oz. However have noticed some interesting trends: 1. Not surprised, but as dd mentions, if PS and BR work fine with his, it should work fine with your setup. Since I think there is a little confusion, I'll quickly rehash the basics. What's the best 32" 1080p LED TV?

I can't tell you for sure, but most modern TVs support HDCP via HDMI, especially since HDMI v1.3 pretty much mandates HDCP being included. (It's not 100%, but 99.999% of all devices that meet/exceed HDMI 1.3 spec implement HDCP). What the issue may be (and it's been a long time since I've heard...

Best TV for a 44" wide space

Plasma's have a higher refresh due to the technology, but most LCD/LED TV are either 50/60, 100/120 or 200/240. I don't know where that 960Hz come from. The higher the Hz, either means 3D, or for more fluid motion. However, if the content is only 25Hz, or 60Hz, etc, the TV has to do some serious...
